Rhinoplasty is a surgical procedure performed on the nose to change its shape, size, form and even function. This procedure is used to help patients acquire a more cosmetically appealing nose and improve their self-image.
The current trend is to perform open rhinoplasty, wich allow to evaluate and measure with absolute precision nasal anatomical changes in order to correct them in the most appropiate manner, obtaining superior results to those obtained with the classical technique.
HOW DO I KNOW IF I AM A GOOD CANDIDATE FOR A RHINOPLASTY?
You must consider a Rhinoplasty if your goal is to achieve an improvement that will enhance your self-confidence and sense of well-being. Expectations are an important element in what makes a good candidate. The rhinoplasty candidates are those who simply want to improve their nose appearance, but do not seek perfection.
HOW LONG DOES A RHINOPLASTY TAKE IT?
A rhinoplasty times depends on the extent of the nasal deformity. Times can vary from 1 hour and a half to 3 hours.

For me, rhinoplasty is the most demanding, precise and challenging intervention of all facial plastic surgery. To obtain good results in rhinoplasty requires a specific training and a large number of operated patients. My interest in rhinoplasty and facial surgery led me in 2013 and 2015 to visit the South Western Medical Center in Dallas (USA) and in 2016 to visit Dr. Ghavami in Los Angeles (USA) to improve the open technique and use of rhinoplasty grafts. Currently, rhinoplasty accounts for 60% of my facial surgical activity.
