Secondary breast surgery could be defined as any procedure aimed at improving or solving problems generated by a breast surgery performed before.<\/p>\n

The decision of a patient seeks a second breast surgery are different, these being the most common in our clinical practice and in order of frequency:<\/p>\n

– Capsular contracture (53%).<\/p>\n

– Low naturalness in the result (38%).<\/p>\n

– Break implants (9%).<\/p>\n

Aunque \u00e9ste pudiera ser un motivo poco demandado, en nuestra experiencia es muy frecuente que acudan pacientes operadas en otras cl\u00ednicas para mejorar un resultado deficiente en su anterior cirug\u00eda. Las causas de estos malos resultados\u00a0 son variadas y muchas veces concurren varios factores en ellas: forma del implante, proyecci\u00f3n, altura, anchura, distensibilidad cut\u00e1nea, estructura tor\u00e1cica de la paciente, etc… Para prevenir esto, es esencial realizar un an\u00e1lisis exhaustivo preoperatorio: conformaci\u00f3n tor\u00e1cica, asimetr\u00edas, tipo de mama (aplasia, hipoplasia, tuberosa, etc) y posici\u00f3n en el t\u00f3rax.<\/p>\n

\t\t\tRotura de implantes<\/p>\n

Los implantes de mama tienen una determinada vida, que depender\u00e1 esencialmente de la calidad de fabricaci\u00f3n. La marca de implantes es muchas veces un aspecto que las pacientes pasan por alto, siendo sin embargo uno de los aspectos fundamentales de la seguridad y el buen resultado en aumento de pecho.<\/p>\n

Para las pacientes que acuden con pr\u00f3tesis rotas el tratamiento pasar\u00e1 por retirar los implantes, envueltos en su c\u00e1psula periprot\u00e9sica para que no haya fugas durante su extracci\u00f3n. La sustituci\u00f3n siempre se realizar\u00e1 por los implantes de mayor calidad, prestigio y seguridad del mercado; estos son los implantes que utilizamos en todas nuestras pacientes.<\/p>\n
